Abstract

The rise of digital technologies, particularly Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), introduces new challenges to intellectual property law, especially copyright. NFTs redefine ownership and distribution of digital works, but also raise concerns over legal protection for creators, especially when they lack control over tokenisation. This article examines how well Indonesia’s current legal framework addresses these issues through normative, comparative, and case study approaches. The findings reveal that existing laws are insufficient, highlighting the need for legal reform and improved digital and legal literacy among the public and creative industries.
