Copyright Notice
Authors who publish with the Journal of Law and Social Change Review retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
Unless otherwise stated, published articles are made available under the journal's licensing policy. Where applicable, articles may be distributed under a Creative Commons license, which permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of the articles, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal.
Authors' Rights
Authors retain the following rights:
- Copyright ownership of their published work.
- The right to reuse, reproduce, and distribute their work in accordance with the journal's licensing policy.
- The right to deposit the published Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories, personal academic websites, or other non-commercial repositories, provided that proper citation to the original publication is included.
- The right to use the published work for educational, research, and non-commercial purposes.
Journal Rights
By submitting and publishing a manuscript in the Journal of Law and Social Change Review, authors grant the journal:
- The right of first publication.
- The non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and preserve the article in print and electronic formats.
- The right to include the published article in indexing services, databases, repositories, and digital preservation systems.
Third-Party Materials
Authors are responsible for obtaining written permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, including figures, tables, photographs, or other content owned by third parties. Appropriate acknowledgements and copyright notices must be included in the manuscript where required.
Author Responsibility
Authors warrant that:
- The submitted manuscript is original.
- The manuscript does not infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of any third party.
- All necessary permissions have been obtained for copyrighted materials included in the manuscript.
- The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
Licensing Information
Readers may use published articles in accordance with the applicable license and copyright policy of the journal. Any reuse beyond the scope of the applicable license may require permission from the copyright holder.
For articles published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, users may share and adapt the work for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any modifications are clearly indicated.
Copyright Infringement
Any allegation of copyright infringement will be investigated by the editorial office. If infringement is confirmed, the journal may reject the manuscript, publish a correction, retract the article, or take other appropriate actions in accordance with its Publication Ethics policy.
