IMPLEMENTATION OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) IN SUPPORTING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN LAMPUNG PROVINCE

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a company's obligation to carry out social and environmental responsibilities to support sustainable development in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. The implementation of CSR in Lampung Province remains suboptimal and does not fully support sustainable development. The problem formulation in this study is (1) How is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implemented in supporting sustainable development in Lampung Province? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in supporting sustainable development in Lampung Province? This type of research is normative-empirical and uses a descriptive research approach. Data collection was carried out through literature reviews, interviews, and documentation, which include primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. Research findings indicate that CSR implementation in Lampung Province has been widespread, with companies from various sectors participating. However, contributions to the education sector, economic development, and environmental conservation are still minimal.
