Abstract

Wages play an important role and are characteristic of a relationship, namely industrial relations. The government has participated in handling wage issues through various policies outlined in laws and regulations, one of which is the minimum wage. In private companies, the minimum wage provisions for the Regency or City (UMK) have been set by the government for workers or laborers. However, in fact, there are many workers' or laborers' rights that have not been fulfilled optimally by companies or employers in order to achieve welfare and feasibility for workers or workers, namely the right to provide wages in accordance with the provisions of MSEs which are often given under the provisions of MSEs. Even though this is in principle against the values of Pancasila, namely the value of justice, where workers' rights to receive wages in accordance with the minimum wage are not fulfilled, so it is based on justice theory that the actions taken by companies ignore the value of justice.  To overcome this problem, it is necessary for a policy and legal remedy for the government to protect the rights of workers or workers through appropriate laws and regulations in labor relations.
